5 of the Inverness Harriers throws group enjoyed a National Throws training day at Grangemouth Stadium last Saturday with some of the top UK coaches and our own National Coach Duncan Flockhart who was also accompanied by Karen Smith who helps to coach the Clubs throws group.

George Evans and Daniel Wilby got to work with Ivan Washington and Mark Chapman UK coaches for Shot Putt and Discus where Adam Hobson and Mary Flockhart got to work with UK javelin coach David Parker and the 5th Harrier Ruairidh Gray got to do a training session with UK hammer coach Malcolm Fenton.

All enjoyed their days training and picked up some valuable tips to bring back to Inverness,Duncan  was absolutely delighted with his groups effort and enthusiasm and looks forward to the next National training day where hopefully more of the throws group can attend and benefit from the experience.
