Congratulations to Alex “2 vests” Sutherland who just finished 9th in the world masters 8k Crosss Country in Lyon and was first British athlete. Team prize is to be confirmed but indications are good for the GB Team.  Alex reports that it was 8k of cross country, tree roots, tight corners, very dry, no real hills heather or bogs and pleasantly warm. Alex now has the 5 and 10 k on the track to come which may be more demanding as afternoon temperatures are set to reach 30 degrees.
