CELTIC GAMES -  CELTIC GAMES WINNERS 2015: Many congratulations to all the athletes involved at Grangemouth for the Celtic Games. Scotland won the overall match with 170 points with Ireland second with 156 and Wales in third on 147. Scotland won the combined matches at both U18 and U16 level and had wins at U18 Boys, U18 Girls and U16 Boys. Ireland won the U16 Girls with Scotland second.

George Evans fresh from winning bronze at the World Youths captained Scotland at U18 level on Saturday – and he performed a skipper’s role by picking up wins in shot and discus. Great work George.
Congratulations to Andrew McFarlane who took 1st place in the U16 javelin with 57.78m and was awarded a Celtic games pendant for a meritorious performance, only 1.07m off Celtic games U16 record.

Gillian Gordon picked up silver in the 4×400 running a solid 2nd leg.
Daniel McFarlane and Joe Arnaud ran well for Scottish afuturesTeam with Daniel 2nd place of 3.90m in the pole vault competition and Joe 3rd in the 800m with a 2.04.08. Lucy Massie ran a fine leg for the 4×400 also for the ScottishFutures Team.
