Weekend Action at the Lighthouse and the Castle
Well done to the Club athletes who wore the Gold and Maroon at the weekend.
Jenny Bannerman continued her great early season form with a 2nd place in Saturday Conoco Oil Balmoral 5k at Balmoral Castle in a PB of 17.35. Jenny was beaten by international star Rhona Auckland who posted an incredible 15.55. Well done Jenny. Meanwhile in the 10k Dean Kane was 16th in 39.10
There was a good flash of club vests at Portmahomack for the popular Lighthouse 10k. The cold North wind did not agree with everyone nut it kept Lee Ross off the beach and Paul Miller away from the ice cream van. Paul Miller , Hugh Marwick , Steve Worseley, Catriona Fraser , Fiona Mackay, Laura Wright and Lee Ross all competed with Paul Miller 2nd overall and Laura Wright 2nd Lady. Well done guys.
