Good luck to all club athletes who are competing across the country tomorrow. In Livingston the club quartet of Mhairi Maclennan, Jenny Bannerman, Sarah Liebnitz and Catriona Fraser will be taking on the rest of Scotland’s top female teams in the National Road relays. Best of luck ladies.

Elgin sees the next race in the Northern Scot 10k series with host club Moray Road Runners hoping that the weather will hold to encourage a big field. With quite a few local athletes suffering from illness the series could be the most open for a number of years. John Newsom is likely to lead the clubs athletes and will hope to back up his win in Nairn with another in Elgins Cooper Park.

Recent senior athlete of the season winner Paul Miller will make the trip to Stirling to compete in the Scottish Duathlon championships. Paul has qualified for the age group world championships for the past 2 years and will hope that his fine recent form will see him make the grade once more. Paul will be hoping that the Worlds won’t be abroad this year as travel insurance at his age is very expensive.

Good luck to everyone, hope the weather is favourable.
