Weekend Action

HARRIERS BANNER

With Gothenburg now a fading memory, club track and field athletes will be turning their attention to the Highland Games circuit and this weekends traditional meeting with the Australian athletes, who return to Queens Park on Sunday to renew the rivalry created over 25 years ago.  Also competing are the clubs under 12s who make the early start and long journey to Grangemouth on Saturday for the Scottish Outdoor Superteam event.

Saturday sees the Forres Highland Games which offers track and field options for all and also a challenging 10k road race.  Details can be found on the club fixture list HERE

Sunday is the meeting with the Australians at Queens Park and registration is from 12 noon.  A provisional Timetable is available HERE

Help is still required for this event so anyone who can assist please make yourself known on the day.  Time keepers are especially sought after.

Good luck to athletes making the trip to Skye for the Glamaig Hill Race and to Harley Davidson and Tim Cooke who are taking on the 72 mile Great Glen Way Race from Fort William to Inverness.

Remember to email any info, race reports, photos etc that you would like on the website to invernessharriersphotos@yahoo.co.uk
