Under 12s Superteams have a great day at The Emirates
The club sent 8 young athletes down to the Scottish Superteams Under 12 Championships at Glasgows Emirates Arena on Saturday. The coaching team of Grant Nairn and Joan Mack were assisted by parent helpers Gavin Norton and Ross Nixon. All the kids were a credit to the club and performed superbly well in what was a very strong field. The boys finished 9th overall and the girls were 18th. There were some superb individual performances from the boys and girls but it was the team spirit and manner in which the athletes conducted themselves that was the real success.
