The Aussies are Coming

On 6th July the club will renew its 25 year friendship with the group of touring Australian athletes who have a great tradition of sending over young and talented athletes.

This is not an open graded due to most of the Scottish Athletics officials being at the Combined Championship’s which clashes with our meeting.  This meeting is a “friendly” and continues a long tradition with the first visiting Australians competing against the Harriers over 25 years.  Club Stalwart Harry Lakeland was instrumental in setting up the initial meeting and Harry will be delighted that the tradition continues to this day.
