This Sunday is the 4th race in the winter handicap series and takes place at the Bught Park.  Please meet at 1pm to register for the run with the junior race off at 1.30.  Seniors should register by 1.45 with the first off at 2pm.

IT IS LIKELY THAT THE CLUBHOUSE WILL BE SHUT SO BRING ALONG A FLASK AND SOME CAKE FOR AFTERWARDS

The race is at the Bught and (football games dependant) will see an adapted 1 mile “figure of 8 course” being used to avoid the waterlogged and muddy areas between the tree line and fence.  Not only will this make for a firmer, faster and safer race it will be a change for parkrunners who are used to the circular route and maintain the traditional mile long lap.

The new route is dependant on no other sports being staged on Sunday and if necessary the traditional circular route will be used.  The provisional new route is attached below.
