North District 10 Mile Championship

9th December 2012
Todays Lossie 10 Mile Turkey Trot doubled as the North District 10 mile Road Race Championship. In windy conditions 4 Harriers took on the undulating route with Paul Miller, Tim Cooke, Alison Wilson and Stewart Wilson making the journey east.
Having recently been stripped of the bronze medals he won at Nairn XC Relays and the NDCCC, Paul Miller was delighted to learn that his 4th place finish today actually counted as 3rd in the championship due to an uneligible runner coming 2nd behind the unbeatable Gordon Lennox. Paul also won the M40 catagory holding off a strong challenge from Forres’s Paul Rogan in the late stages. Miller continues to defy the laws of athletic physics by successfully hauling his 14 stone frame around the XC, Road and Hill courses of the North. Well done Paul.
Well done also to Tim and The Wilsons for flying the Harriers flag.
