DUNDEE YDL
Well done to all the athletes who took part in the YDL match in Dundee on Saturday. The long journey and early start was well worth it with the U13/15 boys and girls teams getting off to the perfect start winning the meeting by over 50 points. The U17s took a very good 2nd place behind the new Islands team.
Many thanks to all involved from athletes to coaches and officials for contributing to a great start for the Club.
SSAA Primary School Cross Country championships – Kirkcaldy High School 23rd April 2016
A number of Inverness Harriers competed in this event on Saturday over a 1.7k undulating course. 1001 P6 & P7 pupils throughout Scotland competed in 8 races. Well done to Duncan MacDonald for his gold winning performance in the p7 (m-z) race.
P6 (m-z) girls – Ava Walsh 11th – 6m 57s
P7 (a-l) boys – Lucas Cairns 3rd (bronze) – 5m 59s.
P7 (m-z) boys – Duncan MacDonald 1st (gold) – 5m 42s
P7 (m-z) boys – Ben Stainsby 91st.
LONDON MARATHON
Well done to Andy Shepherd and Alison Wilson who flew the Gold and Maroon flag around the street of London at Sundays Marathon. Top running guys.
North District Championships
