THROWS AND JUMPS
There is a big entry for this weekends Jumps and throws Grand Prix at Livingston on both Saturday and Sunday. There are still entries available on the day if any athletes want to compete get in touch with Duncan Flockhart. Next Wednesday (29th July) there is a Throws and Jumps open competition at the Queens Park track from 6pm – 9pm
Events are as follows
Triple Jump for u15 upwards
Long jump for u15s
High jump all ages (2 pools)
Discus javelin and shot for all

The club wishes double transplant athlete John Docherty the best of luck as he travels to Gateshead for the UK Transplant Games. John will have a busy day as he competes in the Discu,s javelin, long jump and 5k.

EVANS RETURNS WITH WORLD MEDAL
The Wednesday training groups were treated to a visit by World Youth Games Bronze Medalist George Evans. George showed off his medal and discussed his Colombian experience with coaches and young athletes.
