Full results are now in from Grant Park and as expected there are some excellent Inverness performances.  The overall results in the Men’s race had Andy Macrae in 13th place (5th v35) with a 29.32 run over the hilly terrain backed up with early front runner Paul Miller 4 sec adrift in 15th (7th v40).  Stuart Wilson finished 70th with Ian Johnstone close behind the 3rd v60 male.  This brought the club to a 7th place overall finish in the men’s national race.  George Mitchell was unable to retain his v65 crown after a poor injury interrupted winter but the honours stayed at the club with Alex Sutherland winning this category and George still managing runner-up status.

The Ladies were on fine form also when Alison Wilson ran in 20th place (4th v40) closely followed by Jackie Mair in 26th place (6th v45) and Doreen Campbell 39th (11th v40). The Ladies finished 6th overall in the team contest backed up with strong runs from Liz Forbes and Liz Gray.
