Nairn Turkey Trot
Nairn’s Boxing day “Turkey Trot” attracted 118 runners, many in all manner of festive costumes out to burn off the Christmas calories but at the sharp end of the race was Forres Harriers athlete Kyle Grieg who won in 17.53. Second home was Jack Trevelyan in 17.59 just ahead of our own Stephen Mackay in 3rd 18.09. The womans race was a comfortable win for Inverness roadster Jenny Bannerman in 19.20 with young Ali Velzain (19.31) finishing just ahead of Tom Mcwilliam (19.43) and Billy Skinner (20.05).
