Moray Marathon, Half & 10k
Well done to all the harriers competing in Elgin this weekend in the three Moray races. Tim Cooke finished 8th in the full marathon breaking the three hour mark in 2.57.56 with Timothy Kirk 20th and first v60 in 3.25.35. In the half there was an emphatic win for Graham Bee finishing well clear of second place in 1.14.50 with Sarah Liebnitz taking the female honors and finishes 8th overall in 1.22.10. Billy Skinner made the top 20 with a 1.27.00 in 18th place. Dean Kane was the first Inverness finisher in the 10k distance in 5th place in 36.55 with Tom Mcwilliam winning the vets race and finishing 8th overall in 37,32. Caroline Marwick won the females race in 41.15 with Gillian Grant wrapping up the team prize for Inverness. Special mention to over 60s winner in the Half Marathon Margaret Woodhouse finishing just over the 2 hour mark. Full results below
