McFARLANE BROTHERS MULTI EVENT SUCCESS

Congratulations from all at the club to Reuben, Andrew and Daniel McFarlane who successfully competed at the weekends Scottish combined events championships at the Emirates in Glasgow. Andrew won the silver medal in the U/17 age group with 5 new PB,s in pole vault, 60m sprint, 60m hurdles, high jump and shot putt. Daniel won the bronze medal in the same age group with 2 PB’s in the 60m sprint and shot putt and younger brother Reuben was 4th in the U/13 with 4 PB,s in high jump, 60m sprint, long jump and 800m. These performances are reward for the hours of training the boys put in and the support of their parents and coaches. Well done to the whole family from everyone at the club.
