HIGH FINISH FOR JENNY IN INTERNATIONAL FIELD

Jenny Bannerman ran 9:50.85 which, when rounded up to 9:51, equals her PB to take 11th place in the Armagh International Women’s 3K road race in Northern Ireland on Thursday night (February 19th). She was the third Scot to finish in a field of over 100 women which also included athletes from both sides of the Irish border, France, Wales and England which was represented by an official team.

Third place in the men’s 5K, in 14:00.13, went to England’s Jonny Brownlee, the 2012 Triathlon word champion and Olympic bronze medallist with whom Jenny is pictured
