Today (Saturday), whilst  a large number of the clubs members braved the cold and mud of the final league Cross Country in Forres, the clubs throwing specialists enjoyed the warmth of Inverness Sports Centre as the clubs highly successful indoor Shot Putt competition took place. Trish and Brian Ross along with an excellent team of officials ensured a well organised and slick event was enjoyed by IHAAC athletes and competitors from across the North.  The event was well attended and competition was very strong with PBs too numerous to list.  Performance of the day went to Finbar Dunne who threw 12.82 which will see him top of the UK under 15 shot putt rankings.

Athletes will get another chance to test their early season form when the indoor shot putt competition returns on Saturday 12th March.
