Yesterday saw the end of the Australians seven week tour with them competing in the Inverness Harriers Open Meeting which saw 118 other athletes turn out to compete in their annual visit to Inverness in which they would normally just compete in a low key event just involving the Inverness Club but after several phone calls between  Neville and Harry Neville said he would be delighted to have a bigger competition involving more clubs and athletes.

125 athletes took part in which conditions were perfect for sprinters and throwers with several PBs being set but distance runners struggled in the afternoon heat but still manged to produce decent performances, the Australians performed well adding a bit of good competiton in the sprints and field events and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of their last competition before heading back to home shores.
