The Inverness contingent made the trip to the penultimate Men’s League track & field match in Grangemouth today vying to maintain their top spot placing with the prize of promotion up for grabs. The second place finish at Kilmarnock and the win in the last Grangemouth event set them up well  for today and the team scrapped hard for every point to win by 37 points from Arbroath.  Some excellent individual performances came with wins in the A strings from Stephen Mackay in 800m, Sean Chalmers in the 1500, Chris Mollison in the Triple Jump, Craic Cameron in the Long Jump and Maris Saulits in the Javelin.
