Early reports from the Emirates Arena in Glasgow indicate success for a couple of the Harriers more “experienced” athletes. Ian Johnstone took Gold in the M60 3000 metres.  This underlines a fantastic recovery for Ian who suffered very serious injury after being knocked off his bike less than 18 months ago. Great Work Ian.

Also making the podium was Tom MacWilliam who took Silver in the M40 800metres.

Interviewed shortly after the event Tom said “It was great to come down and take a silver medal at the Emirates Arena, the facilities here are almost as good as the Bught”.  ”This would have been the highlight of the weekend but then I heard Billy Skinner got pumped at yesterdays Parkrun so I was doubly delighted”  Nice running Tom.
