Well done to all 63 Harriers who took part in the North District Championships in Nairn yesterday from the U11s to the Seniors,it was a great medal haul with 9 team medals and 8 individual,the newly crowned District Champions were Lauren Fraser in the U17 Women and James Geddes for the U15 Boys taking the Gold medals home the other individual medal winners were Megan Keith(U13)silver,Beth Maciver(U13)bronze,Racheal Keith(U15)bronze,Finlay Maclennan(U20)bronze,Sarah Liebnitz(Women)bronze and Graham Bee(Men)bronze and well done to Catriona Garvie for winning the unofficial U11 Girls race.
The 9 team medals were Gold-U13 Girls,U13 Boys and Womens Masters,Silver-U15 Girls,U20 Men,Senior Men and Senior Women,Bronze-U15 Boys and U17 Men.It was a fantastic team display with some great individual performances and above all the team spirit throughout the day was tremendous towards all the fellow Inverness athletes.
Inverness officials were delighted with the outcome and commitment from all the athletes,well done to all.
