IMAG1783

Sunday’s BUPA Great Edinburgh run doubled as the Scottish Inter-district Championships and three Harriers represented the North team. The already very tough course with almost 400ft of climbing had added difficulty with temperatures hitting 25 degrees during the race.  British 10,000m champion Andrew Lemoncello won the race and led the East team home for the District win with West second, Scottish Universities third and North fourth.  Individually, Donnie MacDonald was 24th overall in 34.28, Dean Cunningham 28th in 36.01 and Paul Miller 41st in 38.23. Also for the North, Jack Trevelyan from North Highland Harriers finished 29th in 36.13 and Emma Dunnett from Caithness AC  finished 104th in 42.16.
