In the hill racing scene this weekend three Harriers took on the new Sutherland Grove Trails. This race replaces the Beinn Lora race for 2012 which has had it path destroyed by storm damage. The short forest trail race over some mountain bike single track has 300m of climbing in its 7km. First home was Grant Hassan, 5th in 35.43 just over 2 mins behind winner Manny Gorman of Westerlands 33.24. Stewart Wilson was close behind in 9th 36.23 with Susan Blackwood winning the ladies race in 11th overall 37.26.
