Para athlete Paul Davidson got an unexpected surprise in Sweden while he was preparing for a race this weekend with the club as they take part in the Gothenburg Games. An e mail from former senior GB Sprinter Paula Dunn who is UK Athletics Head Coach for The Paralympic Programme inviting Paul Davidson to compete in The Anniversary Games at the Olympic Stadium in London on the 26th July. The event is the final leg of the IPC Grand Prix Series as athletes are seeking qualifying times for selection to the GB Team for the World Championships taking place in Doha in October. Paul was delighted with the invite which he has accepted and this will give him an extra boost for this weekend.
