It is a busy weekend for the club both on the Track and the road.

Sunday sees the first Petrofac meeting of the year with the clubs young athletes keen to build on last weeks successful YDL.

Sundays Timetable of Events is HERE

Also on Sunday is the popular Castle Mey 10k.  The challenging course is often windy but runners who make the long trip to the Caitness coat are rarely disappointed by the scenery or hospitality. More info from North Highland Harriers CLICK HERE

Before the excitement of Sunday, a strong group of club runners will be competing in the 3rd and final 10k in the Northern Scot series at Benromach in Forres.  The flat course always promises a fast race and the hospitality afterwards is always second to none.  Graham Bee, Dean Cunningham and Donnie Macdonald took home the team prize in Elgin and it would be great to see a few medals making their way back along the A96 on Saturday.  Jenny Bannerman is sitting on top of the ladies standings and should she choose to run she will certainly win the title.  Graham Bee has a 44 second advantage over Dean Cunningham in the overall male with Harriers hoping that one of them can hold off Gordon Lennox to record the first overall club winner of the series since Mark Macleod in 2000.  Gordon Lennox will not give up his title without a fight and although he is 1 min 11sec down on Bee and 27 secs down on Cunningham, you can bet a battle will unfold at Benromach tomorrow.
