A group of young club athletes made the long trip to Bedford and after some great performances in tricky conditions and against some very tough and physically imposing athletes came home with a number of medals and PBs. Finbar Dunne, Paddy Dunne, Matt MacFarlane, Rachel Maclennan, Joe Arnaud and Abbie McNally, accopmanied by Duncan Flockhart all represented the club with the usual pride and professional attitude.

Finbar Dunne won Gold in u15 boys discus where he threw 43.79, a new PB and also PB’d in the shot with 14.21 to win Bronze .

Abbie McNally performed exceptionally taking silver in long jump and bronze in the 200m. Abbie also had a PB in the 100m.

Matt Macfarlane won bronze in the under 15 Hammer with a PB of 51.72M

Joe Arnaud had a good run but didn’t make the final as the heats were of a very high standard.

Rachel Maclennan threw a PB in the u15 girls hammer with 40.91.

Paddy Dunne had very tricky conditions in the javelin throwing just over 52 metres to finish 6th overall.
