Well done to all the harriers fast or slow who did the 5K,10K and marathon. It was great to see so many harriers vests pounding the streets and putting up some great times and PBs along the way. It was great to see so many youngsters and older athletes taking part well done everyone, you did the club proud.

There were impressive times and performances across the races with Inverness Harriers Seniors winning Silver and Bronze in the Scottish Marathon Championships.  John Newsom recorded 2.32.54 to underline his race pedigree and take silver, whilst performance of the day must go to Donnie MacDonald in taking bronze (5th overall) in a PB shattering 2.33.28.  Donnie was a late starter to running with the Baxters 2006 marathon being his first competitive race. At this event he recorded a time of 4.58.43. A 2 hour 25 minute drop in 9 years is very impressive. Well done Donnie.  There were numerous marathon débutantes with Darren Dean and Peter Fraser charging home in impressive style.  Full results can be found at http://www.chiptiming.co.uk/results/
