Good luck to all the Club Athletes competing this weekend at the Baxters Festival of Running.  There will be a large number of Gold and Maroon Vests racing around the wee monster, 5k, 10k and Marathon.

There is a strong senior team in the marathon with John Newsom, Donnie MacDonald, Helge Hansen, Darren Dean and Peter Fraser all likely to break the 3 hour barrier with John Newsom hoping to grab a podium finish.

In the 10k there will be a host of athletes hoping to PB on the fast course from Culduthal to the Bught.  Jenny Bannerman will be looking to place high in the female race which has a very stong field of domestic and international runners.
