The club was well represented in Sundays Aviemore 10k with Sarah Leibnitz continuing her superb current form finishing 2nd Female and 17th overall. Sarah has recovered well from an injury earlier in the year and is now focussed on having a good winter of cross country racing.  Sarah said after the 10k ” I spoke to Jenny Bannerman and she said she loved XC so much, especially the hills, mud and cow pats.  I cant wait until the cross country championships in Nairn where I can help the club win the Gold”.  Nice one Sarah.

Fiona Mackay had a great run coming in at 47.40 after a narrow escape from the XC in Scrabster, Fiona continued to cut her 10k time with another PB. Club newcomer Peter Fraser also  had a great run with a PB of  37.56. Morag MacPherson, Gillian Grant, Ross MacDonald and Laura Wright all enjoyed the near perfect running conditions.  If I missed anyone, apologies – full results are HERE

In the Half Marathon Mary Macfarlane had a great run coming in at 1.55.57.  Margaret Woodhouse was going well, however she had to withdraw in the latter stages of the race.  Full results HERE
