Andrew McFarlane continued his impressive recent form with a couple of exceptional displays this weekend much to the delight of his coaches Duncan Flockhart and Brian Donaldson.

Andrew  travelled to England to compete in the English Under 15s Combined Sports Championships which effectively serves as a British Championship.  Andrew finished 5th with a number of PBs which is an exceptional achievement considering Andrew does not even turn 14 until July.

However, the hghlight of the weekend for Andrew came from his display when he entered the U15 open Pole Vault at Brunel University in London.  Andrew added 15 cms to his PB in sailing over a height of 3m 55cm which not only beat his Scottish record set 2 weeks ago, it took him to the top of the British U15 pole vault standings.
