OPENING CLUB HANDICAP – REMINDER

The opening handicap is on Sunday 16th October with the usual arrangements of entries (£1/£2) at the Queens Park from 1pm and the race programme beginning as soon as possible after 1:30. This means that the long course race will PROBABLY have the first runner off shortly after 2pm.
For this first event it’s especially important that we get the handicaps sorted as quickly as possible and Peter Marwick has undertaken to do this. Any long course runners in any doubt about whether Peter has their names should contact or message him directly. Juniors who did any of last winter’s handicaps should already be on Peter’s list but any junior doing the short course for the first time should tell their coach at training this week to get the message passed on.
