Club Athletes are in action this weekend with the throws and jump athletes off to  Craigwood for the T&Js Grand Prix. Meanwhile a number of endurance athletes and juniors will be making the short trip to Nairn for the Nairn 10 mile road race and 3k fun run. The mens race could see top IHAAC endurance athlete John Newsom lift the title and there will be strong back up from Gordie Lennox, Graham Bee and Paul Miller which will hopefully see a team title coming back along the A96. John and Graham were in good form midweek with a 1-2 in Tuesday’s Gairloch 10k. Despite the blustery conditions, John managed to beat the course record held by club mate Gordie Lennox.
