The YDL Final for under 13 and under 15 athletes is on Saturday 10th August in Kilmarnock. The club have won the North East section of the YDL and therefore qualify for this national final.

The event starts at 10am in Kilmarnock and therefore an overnight stay on the Friday night is required for the 55 athletes, coaches and officials who are participating. The cost for the club is in the region of £3000, and therefore the cost of transport and accomodation for each athlete will be approxiamatly £60.

The club recognises that this is quite expensive and is therefore putting out an appeal to anyone who may be in a position to sponsor the team in order to bring down the cost for each athlete.  If anyone knows of any businesses, family or contacts who may be interested in helping please contact Keith Geddes or Duncan Flockhart with details.
