Great results from Liverpool Jumps and Throws meeting at the weekend. All athletes showed some excellent early season form with a great haul of medals and PBs. There were 7 medals and 4 PBs in total which delighted Duncan Flockhart and the other coaches.

George Evans continued to go from strength to strength with Gold in both the discus (47.67) and Shot (14.73).  Andrew McFarlane also tasted gold with a PB throw of 45.48 in the javelin, he then backed this up with a bronze in the high jump with a 1m 55cm jump. Not to be out done Danial McFarlane also claimed Gold with a 1m 50cm in the high jump. Also making the podium places were Paula Gass who recorded a seasons best in winning silver in the javelin with a throw of 39.50. The medal haul was completed by Alex Geddes who secured a PB an Silver medal in the discus with a 33.31.

Great effort by all athletes and a superb start to the outdoor season.
