There are various groups established within the club to cater for Senior athletes of all levels of experience.
Note: All meeting details shown below incorporate time for warm-up, planned session and cool-down (this is not running for the entire duration).

INTERMEDIATE ENDURANCE GROUP
The Harriers’ Intermediate Endurance group is led by one of the club’s coaches and sessions take place at various venues around Inverness.
This is a welcoming and inclusive group of runners who typically run 2-3 times a week and looking for a challenge.
Joining this group will bring you into contact with experience, advice and friendship whilst enabling you to optimise your running goals, whether these be improving your times for 5k, 10k, Half Marathon or Marathon distances.

ADVANCED ENDURANCE GROUP
The Harriers’ Advanced Endurance training group is led by Ross Cairns [Scottish Athletics Performance Coach of the Year] who has taken his athletes to not only National Scottish and UK success, but all the way to European and Olympic games! The group sessions take place on various terrain depending upon the time of year and specific group goals.
This is a mixed-gender, all ability (you don’t need to be at the front or elite) group for athletes ranging from late juniors (S5-S6) to Seniors, focusing on training together in a big group for the benefit of not just the club but also North athletics. Focus is mainly on local and national competitive events from Track 800m to Marathon distance.
Joining this group will bring you into contact with experienced athletes, with a more developed training regime for bringing out the absolute best during competitive performance.
Meeting Details: Tuesday Night, 18:00 – 19:30 / Thursday Night, 18:00 – 19:30 / Saturday Morning, 10:00 – 11:30
